Fun in One Lifetime
Let There be Peace on Earth
Now that you have your learning CD's, please work on getting your music memorized. The earlier that happens, the better we sound at the show. This should really be a fun show for everyone this year! Let's make it sound the best ever!
We will be having sectionals the next two months to increase our note accuracy and improve our tone quality. Please make an extra effort to attend those.
Get out your "pounding the pavement" shoes. Ad sales will begin sometime in February. Dale Wee has agreed to be charge of that again. (Thank you) We'll let you know the deadline.
Donna is writing away. We should have the scripts toward the end of February. You'll need to have your costume together by the end of March for a picture for the program.
We have asked the ladies' quartet from Sterling "Smile" to be on our part of the show. If you have any other ideas for people to be on the first part of the show, you need to let Chris know by February 10th.
Please review the 12 Ideas to Increase Your Membership" sheet from International. Guests are always welcome. Of course, after mid-February probably no "new" prospect could sing all of the show. However, they can always sing one or two songs if they are interested and help backstage. I had a goal of 4 "new" faces at rehearsal, and we've seen 3 -- not bad.
