Living Skies Chorus Barbershop Harmony Society, Regina Chapter |
|
Our Chapter was chartered in 1961 as the WHEATLAND Chorus, but in 1994, the name was changed to the GOLDEN HARVEST Chorus. In 2005 we changed our name to the LIVING SKIES Chorus. Although we place some emphasis on competition, our main focus is on having fun, entertaining others with Barbershop harmony and enriching our community with music. We sing many benefits (usually one per month) at retirement homes and private occasions throughout the year, hold an annual show and compete in our Division and District contests as opportunity permits. Our traditional music tends towards the "old songs", but modern Barbershopping includes music of all generations. But mostly we have fun! We want you to be a part of this musical experience. Come for a visit sometime. We meet most Monday night's at Knox-Metropolitan United Church (upstairs in the gymnasium) which is located on the north-east corner of Victoria Avenue & Lorne Street in downtown Regina. If you enjoy it, consider becoming a member . |
