The Fiesta Barbershop Chorus

David Doheny, Director

David holds a Business Administration degree from Northern Virginia College.  He served 22 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1981.  He also served 18 years as a naval civilian Technical Librarian for the Naval Electronic Warfare School at Corry Field before retiring in 2003.  He has been a Fiesta Chorus member for 23 years and has served as President and Vice President of Programs and Music.  He is currently Vice President of Membership, a position he has also held in the past.    Dave is unique in that he has the range to sing all four barbershop parts and has been section leader for the tenor and baritone sections.  Dave has also been active in Barbershop’s Sunshine District that encompasses all of Florida’s 44 chapters, and served the District as Director of Membership Development.  He currently is a member of two registered quartets within the chapter.  He was named Chorus Director in March, 2010.
