Equally Delinquent

Maury Kramer sings Lead for Equally Delinquent. He grew up singing acapella in the church and fell in love with the possibilities of the human voice. He was part of "One Way", an acapella gospel group during the early 90's and ocassionally sings for local events. He currently has the honor and priviledge of assisting the Holyoke High School Select Choir. Maury also tutors math for local students and at the Holyoke Alternative School. He works for Leon Atkins Motors as a parts-man and lives in Amherst, CO with his wife Nola.

Steve Schwartzkopf lives in Ogallala, NE and is the Shipping/Receiving Manager for American Shizuki Corporation. He started Babershopping in 2001 when the Ogallala Chapter formed and is a charter member. Besides singing, he enjoys bowling, fishing, golfing, and spending time with family members. Steve is single and has one daughter, Ashly. He is active with his church and is a member of the Central Church Board. Steve is President of the Cowboy Capital Chorus and sings Baritone for Equally Delinquent.

Singing Bass for the quartet is Dan Kafka. Music and singing in general were never a part of his life until Dan was introduced to acappella singing through the church. Dan sang Bass with longtime friend, Maury, in "One Way". He was also introduced to Barbershop through Maury. Over the years he developed a love for harmony and the comraderie of the quartet. With the help of mentors in the chorus and the quartet, this Bass is refining the sound. In addition to singing, Dan enjoys working in the church and volunteering. He is employed as a Communication Technician for Highline Electric Association. He lives south of Holyoke, Colorado with his wife Shonna, and their two sons.

Chris Garcia sings Tenor for Equally Delinquent. Chris started singing in 7th grade, joined the Holyoke High School Select Choir in his Sophomore year and continued through his Senior year. The acapella group Marcoux Corner was his inspiration to continue in music and perfect harmonies in four part singing. Chris enjoys the harmonies and sounds of acapella music and was always intrigued by his interest in being involved in a group. Chris has served on his churches worship team in the past and looks forward to the opportunity in the future. Chris also serves as Vice-President for Music and Performance for the Cowboy Capital Chorus. He has a love for a variety of different music from Barbershop to Acapella to Pop and the genre of the younger generation...LOL! Chris lives in Holyoke, CO with his wife Rebecka with whom he was recently married in June. In his spare time he enjoys tennis and spending time with friends and family.
