Becoming a member

If you decide to become a member of the Chorus, and we hope you do, there are a few simple steps to follow, which are spread over the first few weeks of attendance. Your buddy will help guide you through the process.

• Get Voice Checked -- the Chorus Music Director will place you in the proper section (Lead, Bass, Baritone, Tenor) for your voice range.
• Sing in the Lead section at first -- if you're not sure, this is a good place to start.
• Complete an audition -- the Chorus Music Director will assess your voice quality and singing ability.
• Submit an application -- which has to be approved by the Board of Directors. The Membership Vice President will provide the forms.
• Pay the dues -- these are roughly $140.00 per year. There is a convenient installment plan available if you wish to use it, as well as reduced rates for students.
