HIGH VOLTAGE, an "electrifying"
barbershop quartet, was formed in the Fall of 1985 and has been entertaining
audiences all
over Vermont, New England, New York, and Quebec ever
since. They also compete at division and district level
quartet contests.
All the quartet members belong to
the Green Mountain Chorus, the Burlington, Vermont chapter of the
Barbershop Harmony Society, and are active
in its musical and administrative leadership. All have sung in other
traditional singing disciplines as well. Despite their love of singing,
most of the quartet members find that they must, reluctantly, work for a living.
