Baritone, Greg Morrill lives in Stowe. He is a retired IBM programmer and is now a computer science instructor at St. Michael's College in Colchester. Greg obviously enjoys young people and skiing! HIGH VOLTAGE, an "electrifying" barbershop quartet, was formed in the Fall of 1985 and has been entertaining audiences all over Vermont, New England, New York, and Quebec ever since. They also compete at division and district level quartet contests.

All the quartet members belong to the Green Mountain Chorus, the Burlington, Vermont chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and are active in its musical and administrative leadership. All have sung in other traditional singing disciplines as well. Despite their love of singing, most of the quartet members find that they must, reluctantly, work for a living.

Bass, Don Pierce of Colchester, owns two electrical contracting firms, Middlesex Electric and Melody Electric, plus a Sign company!. Don can claim that he came up with the name for the quartet.
Lead, Eric Oberg, is the newest member of High Voltage.  Eric is a sculptor specializing in stone carving and serving primarily the granite industry when monuments feature hand-carving. Since 1993 his studio has been on the home property where he lives with his wife Judy amid beautiful gardens in Calais, Vermont. Tenor, Charlie Church of Colchester is the quartet's worrier. Recently retired from IBM where he was a Financial Analyst, Charlie now has more time to worry!

High Voltage looks forward to entertaining and "charging up" audiences with their special brand of harmony in the barbershop style!
