performance. Slightly contemporary, but very accessible harmonies.

distinctly contemporary harmonic style making extensive use of

This 19th century hymn by B. B. McKinney is rarely heard
today. The three verse settings progress from a simple hymn style
to a gospel influenced, highly contrapuntal setting with

This text, adapted from one by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, is sometimes
called "A Winter Carol". Ideal for the cold days of winter. (2 to

increasingly complex set of 5 variations on the original melody and
