Ordering
music, cost, and other mundane but necessary information
Ordinarily, I
will be able to respond to your request within 48 hours. If I do
not, it is because I am out of town, white water rafting on the
upper Orinoco River, climbing K2 in the Himalayas, cruising the
Antarctic, or just hanging out at the beach. My out of town trips
sometimes last as long as two weeks. But do not despair - I will
get back to you as soon as possible.
Reviewing music. At
your request I will send 2 or 3 pages of up to 3 titles for you to
examine. Please direct your request to

music you want, please request by title and CC number. Yes, I’ll
need your mailing address and your email address. Your telephone
number will be helpful if I should need to contact you.
Purchasing music
for school or church use.
When you purchase a title, I will send one complete copy at $1.25
with permission to reproduce as many additional copies as you
request at $1.25 per copy. You may remit payment with your order.
Alternatively, I will include an invoice when I send the music to
you. We are not currently able to handle credit card payments.
Purchasing music
for individual or non-school, non-church use.
Following purchase of one copy at $10.00, which covers the
cost of production, mailing and other incidental expenses, you may
reproduce as many copies as you require at $1.25 per copy. No
credit cards, please.
Recordings.
If you decide at some point to record the music for any
purpose, including learning tapes, payment of the federally mandated
recording royalty is your responsibility. It is not necessary to
ask permission to record. At present the recording royalty fee is
$.085 per copy. One hundred copies will therefore require a
royalty payment of $8.50. In these matters, I will depend on your
complete honesty.
Videotaping.
The federal government does not set a videotaping royalty
fee as it does for sound recordings. All such videotaping fees are
negotiated between the user and Choral Concepts.
