MEET THE QUARTET
MATT GRAY - TENOR
The son of two music teachers, Matt began singing at a young age in San

State University, San Luis Obispo. He sang Tenor with Varsity Quartet Men-So
Forte and in the Chamber Choir. After graduating and moving to Orange County,
Matt helped form and sang Tenor for Top Ten International & Far Western District
Championship Quartet “The Crush”. Matt has also been a member of the
International Championship Choruses The Masters of Harmony and The Westminster
Chorus, where he served as Tenor Section Leader.
Matt has a degree in Political Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He now

BRIAN PHILBIN - BASS
Through his college madrigal ensemble, Brian met and began singing with the men who would become his first barbershop quartet "The Ivy League", who performed 528 shows over his first summer at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. Brian has been involved in competitive singing a cappella groups since high school, earning all 1’s (superior ratings) at International Festival and served as Bass Section Leader for The Masters of Harmony through two International Gold Medal wins. Brian was also the Bass of audience favorite and International Bronze Medalist Quartet Metropolis. Brian holds a Baccalaureate of Science in Theatre Arts from Eastern Michigan University. Having literally grown up in the theatre, he's performed professionally in various media as an actor, singer, dancer, stand-up comic and mime and has literally grown up in the theatre and performing arts arena, but is – otherwise – rather boring.
