Our director is Nancy Lewis. She has been a member of Sweet Adelines for over thirty five years. She earned Master Director status in 1995 and has directed the Sound of Sunshine since its charter in 1977.

Nancy has sung with regional championship quartets, achieving a silver quartet medal at the international level. She is also a member of the Region 9 Education Faculty. In addition to directing our chorus, she coaches several Region 9 choruses and quartets.

Truly from a "barbershop family", both of her parents have extensive barbershop histories and her mother, sister, and daughter are all members of our chorus. 
Debbie Lewis is our assistant director and choreographer.  Debbie has been a Sweet Adeline since birth.  It's no coincidence that Debbie and Nancy share a last name; Debbie is Nancy's daughter! 

Debbie has served as Sound of Sunshine's choreographer since 1991.  She earned her director's certification in 2002.  Debbie is also a member of Region 9's Education Faculty.
