In an editorial in the Hays, Kansas, Chapter's High Notes, Editor Virgil Quint tells it the way it is to keep egos out of the picture and sell our hobby. "I understand that our performance at the Ness County Fair on July 30 was canceled because of some problems among the fair board and later were asked to do the show anyway. We then turned down the invitation. This seemed to me a great opportunity to get exposure and in a way thank the people for supporting our show by purchase of ads and tickets. It is my opinion that if we want to get exposure and grow, we must seize every opportunity to be seen and heard."
