The Pine Barons Chorus is the award winning Cherry Hill, NJ Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We have been delivering the joy of a cappella music to audiences throughout the Delaware Valley since 1949, with rich, vibrant barbershop harmonies and fun-filled family entertainment.

 Barbershop singing has always been popular, and with the resurgence of other forms of acapella,we are constantly evolving and refining our uniquely American art-form. Using four-part (lead, tenor, baritone, bass) harmony, we weave a wall of sound where the melody of a song (usually sung by the lead) is supported and carried by the other three parts. If sung well, some chords in the song will create a fifth or “phantom” voice for all to hear. We call this phenomenon “ringing” a chord and that’s what gives Barbershop its unique sound!
