This quartet formed in September 2007 and reached the finals in the Mid-Atlantic District’s 2008, 2009 and 2010 International Preliminary conventions. The quartet also qualified for the Mid-Atlantic District contest in 2008, 2009 and 2010. They’re looking forward to more successes in the future. Chances are that they will be the only quartet performing a song with Chinese lyrics.

John Reece is a charter member of the Atlantic Harmony Brigade He is a member of three chapters: the Alexandria Harmonizers, the Frederick Catoctones and District of Columbia’s Singing Capital Chorus (so much for a home life). He also has sung in a number of registered and unregistered quartets for several years.

Dan Brown sang in one of Ed’s prior quartets, All in Accord. He is a Peabody Conservatory of Music graduate and spent nine years as the principal tuba player (really) in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He participated in the Atlantic Harmony Brigade in 2006 and 2008.

Frank Resak alternates lead and baritone parts with Ed. This is Frank’s first registered competing quartet, although he sang in the mixed quartet, “Three Hits and a Miss” in the past. He is a member of the Harrisburg, PA chorus and sang with the Carlisle, PA chorus and Atlantic Harmony Brigade in 2008.

Ed Herring sings both baritone and lead and is a member of the Carroll County, MD and Harrisburg, PA chapters. He also sings in the Methodist church choir as he has for 40 years. He is a charter member of the Atlantic Harmony Brigade.
