Timothy Stahlman |
Tim was born and raised in St. Peters, Missouri. He always had a desire for music and played the drums & percussion, but before that had spent a year learning the piano. That eventually led him to choirs for school and at church from 7th grade on. Tim still loves music and loves serving as assistant worship leader at Oakridge Baptist Church in St. Peters, singing for the Ambassadors of Harmony (AOH), and singing in Grandpa's Boys! He was introduced to barbershop music through his choirs at Fort Zumwalt South in 2000, but didn't find time until March of 2006, eight months after he was married to his beautiful wife Julie, and just in time to take a trip to England with AOH and his wife! Tim holds an associates degree in accounting and one in general education and is currently attending the University of Missouri in St. Louis to attain a BS in Accounting in May of 2010. |

Matthew Dwyer |
Matt Dwyer sings lead. From an early age he was involved in all sorts of music, including making a rap cd in the 8th grade. His family will never let him live that down. Matt also composed and recorded his first song, "Did You Know?" for a school fair project in the 3rd grade on a cassette tape. In high school, he wrote and produced rap and hip hop beats on his keyboard and computer until one day he picked up a guitar; that is essentially when it really began. A fellow guitarist invited him to UMSL's Acapalooza and after experiencing barber shop for the first time and hearing the Ambassadors of Harmony, Matt was hooked. 4 years later, in January of 2009, Matt finally found the time to join the chorus and was fortunate enough to compete for the first time with them this past summer in Anaheim where they won their second International Barber Shop Chorus Championship. Matt is currently pursuing a degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in Middle School Math Education and hoping to minor in Music. Aside from music, Matt enjoys spending time reading the Bible, bowling, playing golf, soccer, basketball, and every other sport known to man, as well as spending time with friends, family, and his beautiful girlfriend, Alyssa. |
