Our Director: Dale Gherman

Since 1994 Ms. Gherman has held her current position as choral director and vocal music teacher at Arthur W. Cunningham Middle School in Sheepshead Bay, where she enjoys immersing her students in a variety of musical genres. This busy woman also directs the new childrenfs choir at Temple Shalom in Mill Basin.

Ms. Gherman, who holds a masters degree in musicology, has studied voice privately, sung in various choruses, played piano professionally both as a vocal accompanist and in community theater productions, and served as director of a community orchestra. She has also composed original music pieces, and she frequently arranges music for choral singers.
