A few of our past performances -- On November 4, 2006 we performed at the newly renovated Colonial Theater - see nice writeup here. Our fall 2005 show entitled, "Barbershop Boogie," was well received at the First Baptist Church in Pittsfield. Special guest entertainers included "Celebrate," the 2004 Sweet Adeline Region 1 champion quartet from Maine, and "A Simple Pleasure," the 2004 Division Champion Men's Quartet from Connecticut. To spotlight our Barbershop Boogie show, the Berkshire Ballroom Dancers strutted their stuff to several of our "dancin' boogie" songs. We celebrated Barbershop Music Appreciation Day on July 13, 2005 by singing several songs to entertain the baseball loving crowd, and to kick off the baseball game at Wahconah Park. We ended by singing the National Anthem. A representative of Mayor James Ruberto's office read a proclamation to the crowd naming that day Sweet Adelines International Day in the City of Pittsfield. Sweet Adeline choruses around the world celebrated this day by singing in their home towns.
