SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL

Real Women --

Do you love to sing in the shower? Do you croon in your car? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to perform on stage? Would you like more fun and excitement in your life? Discover your inner Diva with our chorus that is part of Sweet Adelines International. It is a hobby that brings fun, energy and excitement into your life!

Sweet Adelines International is a membership organization of female singers, who meet regularly to practice, socialize and have fun. All active members belong to a chorus, and some members create and sing in quartets.

Sweet Adelines sing a combination of upbeat songs and ballads, a refreshing alternative to classical music. The Berkshire Hills Chorus rehearses every Tuesday night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center (formerly known as Girls, Inc.), 165 East Street, Pittsfield. Guests, please enter through the front door. See map for directions. If you are, or have been, a member of a choir, the Berkshire Hills Chorus will be a lively and energetic experience for you. Please stop by a rehearsal to check us out.

Our singing year really starts in May, when we start learning new material for the fall show. Every year we hold a special "Guest Night", when interested newcomers are especially invited to come see what we're all about and participate in a typical rehearsal. This year it was on May 20 and we welcomed 10 guests/possible new members!

Join us now and harmonize!
