of Sweet Adelines International since 1991
Sweet
Adelines is a worldwide organization of women singers
committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop
harmony through education and performance.
Starlite Sound supports this goal by participating in regularly
scheduled rehearsals and competing annually with other choruses
from Texas and Louisiana. During the history of this chorus,
we have competed nine times, earning two first place medals,
three second place medals, two third place medals for our division,
and one fifth place position in the overall category which
included larger choruses.
