Coaching --
Several weeks prior to competition, we hold an annual retreat where we spend a weekend away with a vocal coach who helps us to polish our two competition songs. It is a wonderful time to get to know each other and bond together as a chorus while we focus on our musical skills. There are also other times during the year when we receive vocal coaching on our rehearsal night. In addition, in the fall and winter each year, there is an optional Regional Weekend where women from all choruses in our Region #1 come together and attend singing classes as well as classes focused on how to manage the many facets of a successful chorus.
